Quantum Future
Anybody who has heard the word ‘quantum’ knows one thing. That it’s not something to be rashly tossed about (other than Hollywood movies). My idea of quantum is, other than being very tiny things, it’s unpredictable. The very nature of being tiny makes them crazy. And right now we have something of a quantum virus on our hands. The death is real and unimaginable. Here is a villain that would put the US weapons lobby to shame. Trump is furious something invisible is casting shadows on his limelight. His agony is real. You can see it in his tweets.
We are all reading the news first thing in the morning. We arm ourselves with our mobiles before we even tumble out of bed and start for the bathroom. The news is just an increase in numbers with a change of date. The WHO is alarmist and Trump is the one we wish might be telling the truth. The truth is we are all horribly wrong. The virus has found one weakness that has troubled and undone humans for centuries. We are not united in anything! The one thing that will have a chance against this virus is our own collected common sense and unity. Without that basic requisite, the virus is having a walk in the park attitude. And Trump and Bolsanaro and most right wing idiots are constituting the whole circus. It’s like humanity is surrounded by fire and the leaders are swearing by absinthe that dousing ourselves with alcohol is the very way out.
Just this morning, or for the last few mornings for that matter, ennui set in disabling me. I couldn’t even sip my coffee in peace. (Can’t say it didn’t taste anymore). I was drained of my mojo. Idiots in power positions in my state doing the same thing expecting different results. They announced blanket lockdowns even if there was a comment against their mismanagement. I suspect they might be enjoying their present position of power without opposition.
